 | Most of the cover of Nick Drake's songs are inspired by Chris Healey, Harlan Thompson and other's transcriptions on the Nic Drake Website. I am full of admiration for the work they have done workng out the tunings and transcribing the tunes almost note for note. My favourite Nick Drake's song is Time Has Told me, but I wasn't happy with their arrangement. It is given in C withe the capo of the 3rd fret. I decided to drop the tuning by a full step, and play it in D. Dropping the bass to D. It was quite common at the time to lower the tuning, and I'm pretty certain that this is what Nick did. All feedback welcome. I've slowed it down a lot to make it very easy to follow. The chords are quite simple. D, G, 0009+78?, G on the 7th fret moving down on the bass to Em and ending on A, which can be played either on the 5th fret or in standard form on the 2nd fret.
